amidst the Joshua trees and windblown seas
i found my true love alone
his heart filled with sorrow
for lessons he borrowed
his whole life, he felt, had been blown
enter the picture, a maiden of fair
golden red hair, and problems to bear
met up with this knight
who abated her fright
and love blossomed right from there
fast forward five years
he wiped up her tears
they traveled to kingdoms and castles
they talk deep talks
and take long walks
and help one another fight battles
i love you my prince
for you are my world and my strength
to make it through the day
i love you my husband
without you, my life is empty
i just want you to know i feel this way...
