Staring at the sky,

her heart filled with Hate.

Never knowing why,

this has become her twisted Fate.

Shadows crowd close inside,

questions burning in her Mind.

Struggling valiantly she has tried,

seeking a way to break the chains that Bind.

Shattered has her faith become,

filled with disgust for what she has Seen.

Searching for God she finds a crumb,

a spark of hope wondering what it could Mean.

Forgiveness for things long past,

absolution from all of her Crimes.

Her sins away forever to be cast,

understanding for all her mistaken Times.

His unconditional love,

pouring out to set her Free.

Love shining down from above,

poured out for you and Me.
