Day after Tomorrow

Contributed by devils_denial on Friday, 13th October 2006 @ 07:51:02 AM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Washed away are my dreams,
They didn't want to come true it seems,
Through my blind the light gleams,
Outside in the darkened street I hear screams.

Please help me through my demise?
My inner soul is whom I despise,
If I even try to retaliate,
I've would definitely seal my fate.

I sit in my damp room shivering from the cold,
I wonder if my soul for the devil has been sold?
I'm only nineteen I'm not that old,
My Mum detests me,
That's what I've been told.

Truthfully I didn't want to here that,
In my damp room is where I'm still sat,
Thinking about tat for tit, tit for tat,
Now I'm ready to blow my brains out with a gat,
You all may want to snigger,
But just think about it?
You're not the one who's pulling the trigger.

So I'm going to teach a lesson,
To those who want to commit suicide,
Life to you should be a blessing,
It's me you all shouldn't follow,
‘Cos sadly for me there isn't a day after tomorrow.

The feelings in this write, are deep, and very sad.! Took the reader to a place filled with no place to go......Hope there is a place for you. We do have such random let downs, and saddness in our lives...But we have to look at them as a lesson learned and not go that path again. Very strong, powerful write.

Brew~

There will always be a day after tomorrow, the world isn't dependant on one person to function, it's harsh to say but you're just part of the game. No amount of self pity or revenge will ever fulfill that emptiness inside, it's your life - which you have the right to.

Only you can change the situations bothering you.
The trick is just to get on with life and hope that someday everything will be better...

very painful and tragic writing. i'm sure you have faced more than your share of bad times.but that doesn't make it right to take away the life God gave you.think of it this way; you do have a purpose in this life, to use your talent of writing to show the world that you are somebody. don't give up if you are just 19 there's far better things you have yet to go through.hang in there.
