Be Gone.

With every hiss I feel You slowly leave me,
I call Your name but You don't answer me.
I wave the clouds by and call the rain,
but thoughts tell me It's not my realm to reign.
The overcast shadows the lands so bleak,
I call Your name, yet You don't speak?
I feel it's not my place to intervene again,
but situations called it neccesary to defeat the problem?
Why have I no anger left or sympathy to show,
did I die yet again, when will it all go?
The end seems so distant off,
mileage I've yet to cover,
I call Your name, yet the answers in the air only hover?

I have no regrets, no sympathy for my actions,
no wave-me-by's or behind-closed-door's mutter,
the mirror shows only a casing, the blinding light shows only white,
the glass cut only showed signs of blood,
yet the pain was gone, only twitching to the stutter of broken time.
I seek no comfort in things that come to mind,
walls hide your shadows - I'll still see you even if I was blind -
your presence disgusts me, yet the envy of power frustates me,
you glide the walls, you ride the tides, you watch carefully as things die...
you want the power I once possessed,
I have no desire for it anymore, yet you call back the dark times,
every candle burnt, every hymn sound, the anger that broke lives...

No more, the evil hasn't gone, it won't confess to what its done,
it watches as sympathy turns to apathy - love turns to hate -
you call me, I won't answer.
you tempt me, I won't give in.
you offer yourself, I won't have need.
...be gone, I ask no forgiveness for what I've done.

Such a deep poem.. I liked the style and flow of this poem... It was a really great poem... I can relate to feeling empty...
