Black and White

Do you remember back when the grass was green and the stars were bright?
And do you remember back when you were so dear to me?
But now the sky is turning gray,
I look around and black and white is all i see.
The color of love is no longer clear to me.
So i take another hit as my eyes get darker.
They are covered in a glaze that is too thick to break through.
You try to talk to me but im not really there
I seem off in the distance,
sitting with a blank lonely stare.
Its all black and white to me,
and theres nothing i can do..
So with tears in my eyes,
I sit there and stare,
And watch as my world turns cold and bare.
