My lonliness

I can tell by the waning moon
I can tell by the gust of the wind
That it was way too soon
For you and me to end
The tides will never believe
Nor the melancholy tone
That you have forever left me
Here all alone
Pain will smile
Torture will laugh
I will be in denial
But that’s not the half
I’ll be in depression
But only for a while
And when I make my transgression
I’ll have the smile

I really liked the poem but was
somewhat confused by what
" make my transgression " was in
reference to. However I did enjoy
it. Good work . Truly , Doug |

I liked this... I have felt this way once... But that was almost a year ago and I have a new love and I am redefining myself once again...
Great poem
