She loved him when she knew he was'nt rich
Loved him still yet a little less
each day when he could not provide
each day her love did grow distressed

She loved him though he was'nt handsome
Loved him still yet a little less
each day he did not spark her fire
each day with others more impressed

She loved him but the talk was bad
rumors nibbled at her ear
though he was never as they claimed
soon her love had dissappeared

Are we only valued for what we can offer
and loved no more when that is gone
I damn this world for you my love
and should you die I won't move on

though you've nothing left to offer
though your memory brings me only tears
I shun the world and curse at death
I gladly suffer endless years

damn this fleeting worldly love
beauty , wealth and happy things
I am yours eternally
a wraith forever by your grave

I will defy hell , I will defy heaven
I will defy everything and cast away the world
I will chill death with my immortal despair
and prove my love by suffering for you
until time ceases
until death himself crumbles into dust

My love knows no Bounds
My love is Real
My love knows no Bounds
My love is Immortal

Heart is breaking reading this. I felt your heart, pain and longing and that deep love you still hold onto. Nicely done.

This was so sad and yet so beautiful... People who only love based on looks and material things shouldn't be able to fall in love with some one who loves them back more then anything... Love is more than this... Love is life and yet love is death... Love is just simply love... This was a great poem... Really heartfelt...

Take care
christina

Excellently done. It captures the feeling well. Sometimes people fall out of love with you even though you don't fall out of love with them, and you're left crying at cupid's grave.

True love does not let fear or insecurity destroy it.
True love does not need riches to survive.
Too many people in this world think they are in love, only to realise that they were more in love with the idea of love.
Good write

Steve
