Slow down and speak to me
Your breath it reeks at me
Under your collar
The insects they crawl
I don't know what to do
Other than softly coo
Save your sour kisses
The ages they turn
I wait for eternity
To write something back to me
He never listens
He only sojouns
We age and we crumble here
Our lives were in yesteryear
We wait to be punished
For things left undone
But punishment never thrust
Nor absolution just
The solemn undoing
Of all that we are
So wait in this purgat'ry
Sanction and surgery
Lets us forgotten
To be all we were
