dear god... Why

Contributed by lipsofanangel on Wednesday, 11th October 2006 @ 08:14:46 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Dear God its me
Ive been crying
I am hurting
if you see me
Than why do you allow this pain continue
Why do you allow people to hurt me
Why are you ok when i hurt me
Why do you kill off anyone who i care about
Why cant you just take me instead
I have not done anything to these people
why do they hate me so much
Why do they laugh when they see my tears
Welling up behind my eyes
Trying to escape
Why do you kepp me here and take the people who can really do something with themselves
Why dont you just take me,
Im worthless and nothing
No one would cry
no one would care
So why Lord,
Why them and not me
Do you like to see me suffer
do you like to watch me bleed?

wow.. good write.. you have to keep your head up.. and think for the best.. because ending yourself.. is just the easy way out.. it doesn't say in the bible that life would be easy.. you just got to keep your head high. and you will see things get better if you want them to.. but you gotta try.. if you would read my poem called.. talk to god first. it's a true story.. anyway.. take care of yourself. and keep up the good work.

Life is a struggle, a journey.
Some find the easy road , others are forced to take the harder one with its steeper climbs.
Don't give up that journey, you will eventually find a better place.

There's no reason why bad things happen
to good people...
You have a right to be angry, but don't let it
consume you-save it, use it to make changes, to create, and remember,
life is a series of challenges that we must
rise against.

This is well spoken. For myself the end lacks closure. I feel like there should be something more ending after the question. Maybe even one or two lines.

"If you truly don't
Then why take everything I need?"

Still, your point is sharply expressed and I empathize with the emotions that it conveys. Though I don't know your situations, I know the feelings well. Stay strong. Everything happens for a reason, even if you can't see it.
