Although I know that I have homework to do
I find my thoughts straying always back to you
There are the days that I try and sometimes I succeed
To not think about you or not to ‘feel’
Not to feel the feelings that I still have for you
Not to think about what we used to do
I try my best always… to forget
Not once though have I experienced regret
When I see you my heartbeat increases,
My mind scatters to 1,000,000 pieces
Yesterday you walked in and I couldn’t think straight
I couldn’t think about anything… just great!
I am not going to deny my feelings for you
So much time has passed, and yet…
I think I want you more than I did before.
It’s unfortunate that things have to be this way
You wiggled your way into my heart
And you’re there to stay…
You are in a relationship that I’m not sure you want to be in
And I’m at the point, where my life with someone else I thought I was ready to begin
What do we do from here… where do we go?
I’m looking for the way but I can’t see
Will you be the someone who will show me?
