Holly Golightly,
The pride of New York,
She learned how to use
The correct knife and fork.
Tycoons would all fawn
Over young Holly’s charm,
Very few knew,
She grew up on a farm.
For Holly was phony,
But a real one at that,
Always was willing
For a drink and a chat.
Defense mechanisms,
She wasn’t insane,
Holly Golightly,
A young girl in pain.
