Falling Apart From a Broken Wish

Contributed by The_Unknown on Tuesday, 10th October 2006 @ 02:11:24 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Facing the world with a new expression
she changes her views
For a better neglection
Just for him
She sits and waits
As cold as ice
Is his attention
Never with affection

Sharing their views
Changing the look of it all
Giving attention without any affection
The memories of them
Changes without notice
Fading away into the distance
Slowly falling apart

---

Like a rock his love for her
A rock he never gave
Crusted over with icy tears
Hidden away in his pocket
Afraid of an answer
He never said a word
Madly in love
He doesn't show her
The affection he has
For her

---

Unknowing what he has for her
She lightly slips away
Drowns in tears of sorrow
As she falls into a dark abyss
She screams for him
But he doesn't know it
Wound tightly within herself
She is too afraid to say the words
She longs to breath

---

Without the affection
They drift apart
Both wanting it so bad
But too afraid
Longing for each others words
They fall

So heartbreakingly sad...
