Are you playing hard to get?
Because you play it oh so well.
If you really are in love,
Then girl it’s hard to tell.
Do you turn and bat your eyes,
Then hand out a small kiss?
And when parting say “I love you,”
When there is no truth in this?
Are you playing hard to get,
By keeping me on a string,
Knowing you only have to ask,
And I’d give you anything?
I don’t mind playing hard at love,
If you’re in the game with me!
But if you’re playing hard to get,
Then play alone and set me free!
