The drama was killing me, life moving faster than I needed it to. The motion made me drop to my knees and I gave in to the swirling chaos before me. But now I think it might be all okay.
Tonight, homecoming night…I have the hope there’s someone waiting there for me…someone waiting to take my hand and take me back a few steps.
Slow it down. Cry a little. Give up your hold, and move on even though you don’t want to. It’s going to hurt, but eventually you’ll be fine….
Stare into his eyes for the last time…the eyes you feel in love with. The only things you’ve known. Remember your love. Remember your hate. Try to think it’ll all be for the best.
Somehow I just know, someday, somewhere, someone will be waiting for me. They’ll take my hand and lead me back home.
The world is slowing down and I’m finding my feet. It hurts to see it all come crashing down, but somehow, it’s all going to be fine…..
