To my lazy cat
Why must you do what you do
Your so crazy
My little fuzz ball I love you

For a cat your cool
Because you act like a dog
Just so clumsy, lazy
Eat your food like a hog

Greet me, welcome home and
follow me up the street
Felines I thought graceful
But you, you stomp your feet

You sit in the shower
With water on full blast
So many didn’t believe
Until they saw your silly ass

I buy you soft pillows
So why do you sleep in the sink
Staring at me in the bathroom
As if I don’t know it stinks

I’m tired late night
Ready to go to bed
I cant get comfy
Because of your big head

Stick your face in my sneakers
Run off and play with my hat
All the neighbors know you
They say there goes dog/cat

You see me trying to vacuum
And yet you stretch out middle of the floor
I tell you one day I’m going hit you
And now the vacuum don’t work anymore

I try to get by with cheap food
You turn your face in disbelief
Some one knock at the door
You hop up showing your teeth

I come in with bags
Your laying in the hall with your feet in the air
See me struggling, hands full
And yet you lay right there

The kids put berets on your whiskers
Ribbons on your tail and brush your hair
I know it got to bother you
But you act as if you don’t care

Since when, is a cat happy displaying a wagging tail
I have company every where they go, you got to sniff their trail

I swear something wrong with you
Because you’re a crazy cat
Its funny every one who’s ever met you
Barely speaks to me but ask where your at

To my lil fuzz ball A.K.A. Stretch the lazy cat

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
