I feel you here
I see you there
I can taste the perfume in your hair

I'm like a crooked box
Or the dirt beneath your socks
All the keys or am I all the locks?

I want to push
I want to pull
I want to prove that you're incredible

I could be your enemy
I can be your friend
I can write you letters that I'll never send

You look amazing
You make the room feel so fine
I want to make you important, would you be so kind?

I can be a bully
I can be a thief
I can dive deeper than any other creep

You seem so dangerous
And I don't seem to be scared
I'd like to tickle your soul, with all my sins bared

This could be a greeting
This could be the opposite of goodbye
I'd tell you the truth because I hate you, but then that would be a lie.

That was an intrestin twist on things, I liked it. Written well.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
