Nothing in this world will last forever,
The moments we have we must treasure.
So that at the end when we look back,
We will see that our lives have been on track.
That we lived our lives for what truly mattered,
And neglected all things that would leave us shattered.
Spending time with loved ones and friends,
Is the only thing worth anything in the end.
A relationship without trust is beyond conception,
But to trust is to risk deception.
Life without love would be rather insane,
But to love is to risk rejection and pain.
If we do not try we will never prevail,
But to try is to risk that we might fail.
It is important in this life to risk something,
For those who never risk end up with nothing.
