I love thee with your beautiful face
With eyes that cause my heart to race.
I love thee with your warm embrace;
Your special touch on every place.
I love thee for all the days I see
You, my love, beside me.

I want you with me when I wake
To feel with me the love we make.
I need you with me when I take
A tearful breath or make mistakes.
For all the future days to be,
I need you there beside me.

My hand in yours so tightly held
Cheers me up when my spirits fell.
It seems to me you can always tell
When hectic days have caused me hell.
Appreciation is the key
That locks you right beside me.

I loved thee all the prior days,
In every step in every way.
I’ll love thee all the future days
With unknown moments, come what may.
My soul will be forever free
As long as you’ll walk beside me
