The only scar

In the world of Heaven,
A place where we will all be,
A time a place we will share,
For all eternity.

A perfect place to call our own,
A place to be with Him,
A place where we will never part,
Never have to say good-bye to Him.

A place we won't grow older,
A place we will never die,
A place over yonder,
Somewhere in the skies.

A place where our bodies won't be sick,
Be in pain or agony,
A place where we can live again,
What a great reality.

But I think there wll be a scar,
A scar that He will bare,
To show what He done for all,
His love will be felt everywhere.

A scar that will alway be,
To show us for eternity,
The love that he showed upon that tree.
When He died for you and me.
