Welcome Home

The pain I know is mine
The burden I must bear
But for every ounce of strength
I wish this pain to share

Some may call me a fool
Others may call me wise
I know nothing you don't know
And that is the secret I hide

Welcome to the place I hide myself
Memories stuck high among shelves

There is darkness in this soul of mine
Memories that won't let go
It seems that they're haunting me
Like an all encompassing shadow

This place I journey everynight
To hide the things that haunt my mind
It is the only peace I know
It saves me with the killing blow

Welcome to the place I hide myself
Memories stuck high among the shelves
Just out of reach so I can't pull them down
And if I tried I'd fall to the ground

Welcome to the place that hides my guilt
All the secrets and pain I've ever felt

Welcome to the place I call my home
A place gods and demons are afraid to go

Welcome, welcome home
