Donkey Ravine

Contributed by oneir8dude on Wednesday, 4th October 2006 @ 09:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

What is wrong with the world…
Everyone’s attitudes are unfurled…

I walked up to someone and said hello…
To a guy who looked like a nice fellow…

He looked at me with a blanked expression…
I didn’t want some added attention…

Just a simple hello back would have been fine…
It would not have taken up any of his time…

Just a simple gesture in passing…
Why not send a guy your blessing…

When a person takes time to give you two seconds…
Or maybe extend an arm to shake hands…

Think in your head how you look…
And how little time it would’ve took…

To give it back and move along…
To do otherwise is just so wrong…

Don’t be an ignorant self centered Jackass…

Bill, That pic had me LMAO. What a write. Good venting. I can so relate to this with other folks. People can be rude as hell. Your last line was a classic, man. I had to smile when I read it.
Peace, Laura

Hello Friend, what a great way of expressing my feelings as well. LOL Of course the wife would have told me “Look sweetie, he looks better than you” LOL not really but the picture is a great expression of your poem. Great Job! Last line says it all. May peace and joy fill your heart.

I found this quite amusing and the comparison hilarious :). But remember sometimes it's not ignorance, a person could be just overwhelmed by things happening or circumstances.
