Who my love would you say,
Is the keeper of the key,
That unlocks your hearts door?
I know now it’s not me.
Who is the one you’d run to,
When love is what you need?
And when you’re troubled, feeling low,
To whose words would you give heed?
Who is the one you think of,
When you turn your lights to dim?
I wonder who that man is,
For I know I am not him!
Who holds the key, I wish was me?
And why have you told me not?
Am I locked out forever,
As the man who you’ve forgot?
Your silence speaks in deafening tones,
Like the roar of a raging sea.
As I sink for the third time tell me,
Who is the keeper of your key?
