You

Topic: LostLove

Those words you no longer comprehend,
Twist and flit, and break and bend,
The meaning’s lost when you say them aloud,
Sorry’s not a phrase for the proud,
You read the writing up there on that wall,
You made me stumble, crumble and crawl,
You stuck in the knife, and then twisted it round,
You cut me open; and look what you found,
Those words you cannot comprehend,
Fall from me, and break and bend,
I love you’s lost, when the heart’s broken;
I love you’s lost, when the words are spoken.

Oh my .. 2sdy .. this is incredible!!

It reached right in and gripped me .. such a tortured write, my friend.

I knew by the category that it would not be an easy read .. but I was
not prepared for the flood of intimately painful emotion you
showered on us. Exceptionally emotive write.

impressed, as always

~Breezy

Those are three powerful little words. When said with meaning they seem to freeze time.

But when they're said without meaning, as you say, without comprehension, when it's said just for the sake of saying it, that when you get a situation like you have written about.

Well written and full of emotion, the repetition at the end really helps to hammer home the point.

Well done

:D

Like Breezy said, it was not only a difficult read, but it had to be just as difficult to write. Two thumbs up for this piece. Thank you for sharing it. wrdz
