Did We?

Contributed by one-curly-fry on Tuesday, 3rd October 2006 @ 09:16:25 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

It happened a long time ago
- didn’t it?
when you can and sat by me
in the early pink of dawn
your curly hair, wild, yet perfect even then
your eyes, ever fresh and alive
you talked
and I answered
without words
because words merely hinder the heart
Yes, we loved
- didn’t we?
a love of more than flesh
because that will wither
yet the soul!
That is eternal…
With a faint piano song
- I remembered
I knew I was at home
before the keyboard
you
and the main character
– a chapter of love –
something I had created
and never felt myself
but for that moment of daydreaming
and a lifetime of longing.

Soft and gentle and so beautiful. There is so much
in here I found pleasing .. very sweet write.

keep your daydreams, my friend. They are what brings
our desires; the wants in our heart of heart's to fruition.

Wonderful post.

so many of us go through so many books looking for our "main character". Hoping one day it will be more than a daydream for us all.
Thanks for inviting us into your world.

Just so ppl know - I actually have written 3 novel sized stories... This is about a female character I created in the first who ended up becoming the dream woman I've always wanted... Pretty sad, I know, but I was in a troubled place at the time and the story helped me define the kind of person that would suit me - unfortunately, she didn't suit the main character - long story! lol
