The echoes of my memories

Topic:
Grief
|
The echoes of my memories
That haunt my dreamless sleep
Burrowing deep inside
Unmercifully they creep
Traveling through my body
Their venom quickly seeps
These undetected echoes
Still cause my heart to weep

You can feel the sadness in this write as you read.
” Burrowing deep inside
Unmercifully they creep”
Yes, memories tend to do this to us when we have really bad ones.
My you find peace and joy in your heart one day.

Through so little words you have managed to pen so much. Haunting memories tend to haunt our dreamless sleep. An excellent post. May your mind and heart be filled with much happier thoughts my friend.
hugs n prayers,
Sue M
