The lady of the lake

Contributed by topcatcrowther on Monday, 2nd October 2006 @ 05:27:21 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Lady of the lake,
I see you in the waters,
Mist shrouds your beauty splendour,
Evening sun pierces the trees,

I see you Glide to the water edge,
Beauty exquisite,
Your threadlike garments drape around you,
Posture perfect,
No ripple disturbs,
Mysterious lady,
Graceful ballerina of the woods,

No bird is heard,
No creature stirs,
For nothing could disturb such enchanting magnificence,

She comes to immerse me in her lagoon,
Her eyes draw me in,
As if a noose is set around my neck,
Pulls me in,
Into her magical spell,
White witch of the waters,
I am yours.
