Why do we stand?
Why do we sit?
Why do we bend, when we should quit?
That one inch of hope.
That we all have deep inside.
Keeps us going everyday.
Keeps us feeling alive.
When you're about to go off the deep end.
Why do you hold on?
Whats clutching your soul?
Making you hold strong.
Even when you've lost it all.
You stand tall.
When you can barely crawl.
That feeling, that theres something else out there, something more than cheap thrills.
That hope, so precious it kills.
When all you can give are tears.
Why do you give all you have?
When life keeps gifting you with sorrow.
That one inch of hope.
Makes you hang on for tomorrow.
When pain fills your very being.
Hold on, for hope will be your healing.

Wow I really liked that write my favorite lines were
When pain fills your very being.
Hold on, for hope will be your healing.
because it is so true pretty much those lines describe perfectly what i have been going through and now believe 100% awesome write! |

I really love the topic, but wonder why you change from we to you .. it's ok I guess..the best part for me was:

Reading this line - "That hope, so precious it kills." I felt like I knew exactly what you were saying. Very intriguing subject matter of which you handled quite well - good work!
