Terrorconvict
Walking in
Hearing hate
Just let it be because you think its fate
Walking out
Feeling anger
I can’t retaliate because it’s not my territory
Eating out
Tasting fear
I can taste the acidic tears
Eating in
Satisfaction is clear
I can taste the forbidden fruit
I am being arrested by the man
In a black suit
Speaking in twisted lines
Like I know anything
About Guns and Bombs.
Questioned for the crime I never did.
sometimes I wonder if its a crime to be?

Great write. Our government is teaching us fear. Fear one another. People easily profiled, people being accused of terrorist activities. It is a friggen joke, especially now that the new law was passed giving the government even more power to search, listen and accuse. It's one crazy world. Take care and thanks for the write.
Peace, Laura |

War on terror is war on Islam (no I'm not a muslim I'm Scottish) The distortions taking place in this world are truly horrific and this piece sums up a root consequence. Great thought provoking poem. |
