Greetings and Salutations

Contributed by Man_On_High on Sunday, 1st October 2006 @ 09:23:23 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Is it possible that they
will have forgiven me
for ambitions continually crushed..
that an affluent end
will make up for my book of ages;
the indigence,
albeit: my many heart warming salutations..
that a day of success
will lull to sleep,
the shame of all
my fatal incompotence?

OH! Dear friends, your psalms
are written in diamonds
with love and strength,
higher than all joys
and all fame
and are the reason
why and how I came..
and in any case,
that the greetings of wonders
be applied by accident??
..that all my written movements
of a social brotherhood
not be cherrished
as a progressive restitution
of my own orginal freedom?

But they, who by a better will
and who shall always pervade,
ask that I enjoy myself not,
by the greetings and salutations
they have forbade
but by other words, not so amusing..
thereby, wounding me..
leaving me to the torment of a new silence.

I guess trust is not
of the quintessential human trait-

B

Sweetest, dearest, poet ~

I've told you what I thought of the sentiments that lie within this write. But, I have to add,
dearest, that I am completely impressed, eternally, at your ability to cut right to the chase.
I mean, you can get at the heart of any matter, and sooner than any thought had wings
to fly, you are steadfastly and willfully versing all the ruins that lie deep within.

Sweetheart .. I would like to quote the master, (though he may have been
speaking of Shelley at the time).."thus he was profoundly original" *winks*

yes .. pertinent and intensely true, as it pertains to you and all your amazing works.
This, (though slightly assuming perhaps), is one of the most raw and real writes I've
read in a very long time. You should never change who you are, my dearest. All that lies
within, is what makes you that incredible magnificent. Boldly talented and profoundly
wise. (something I keep finding out each and every minute I breathe ~ )

At all times .. sincere. There is much to learn from you, methinks.

respectfully, and as always, with love,

~Breezy
