Too afraid to pretend that I care

Contributed by wyrd_faerie on Saturday, 15th February 2003 @ 12:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Haunted eyes weep and broken wounds cry
Desolation feels like a deadly sin
Alone in the dark of her mind and her soul
Never knowing why time suddenly grew so old
She’s got no strength left to ignore everything
Asking for more than she’ll ever give
Answers to questions that were never told
Needing to make it through the rain
Needing to make it back again
Her eyes are burning but her heart turned cold
A forgotten disguise weighs around her eyes
Chains round her ankles bind her to her lies
Listening to the wind with nothing left to show
She’s learnt more than you’ll ever know
Hush baby, stop screaming,
She’ll never kiss you goodbye

Hush baby, stop screaming,
She’ll never kiss you goodbye…

I was going to pick out a line or two that was really good then i realized they were all good. Wow... this was simply amazing. Words can't descrbe how much I love this. i hope this just came to you and you are not actually experiencing it. Hang in there. Remember I am always here.

Your friend,
