Ghost Wind

Contributed by secretwind on Sunday, 1st October 2006 @ 12:14:02 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I am so very tired
of trying to find a way
the pain always remains,
as I stagger into tomorrow
I often fall
deep into sorrow
I never seem to know what's really going on,
when I walk I stumble
when I talk I mumble
it is oh so very frustrating.

I seem to remember
there was something
to believe in
like laughing and talking
and breathing,
once upon a time
love was all that mattered
and a circle of friends
that I experienced
as we slowly cracked and shattered.

In silence
I fade
my footsteps echo down the hall
as shadows dance
on the walls,
there's a hole in my soul
my life is a disaster
the damage is done...
I'm just a ghost now
eerily
you feel me
as I am fading,
and the sensations on my frustrations.

It's so painstaking and sad to read about another fellow poets emotional battle. Through your words I felt such pain and hurt.
You have openly expressed yourself so well. It helps us to heal when we write about what troubles us in our lives. I wish your heart healing. The very best of wishes to you~
hugs n prayers,
dreamer
PS thanx so much for the kind comment you left for me on my poem. Deeply appreciated as always :-)
