|
A beautiful, delicate gift;
“This is for you, my bond.”
The milky white embrace,
High above the flailing flags
Near a portal where “it” laid.
It’s next to mine, for you and I
Live side by side
On catatonic archways.
We stare at the other side
Until the daylight fades.
“Simple yet sturdy
And short but sweet.”
We’re together forever,
Even if we’re cold
On the inside and out.
Our happiness appears
Within our smiles.
But, our despair’s nigh
Tonight and every night;
You can see it in our eyes.
Sunset to sunrise
In our purgatory lifestyle.
With no action in our limbs,
Nor strength in our minds,
Our only choice is to stay.

Please ignore my first comment in this poem; it was cruel of me to put it and it was bad judgment on my part. If any of you are offended by the statement shown above, I am sorry.
