My life given back

Contributed by vonniemc on Thursday, 28th September 2006 @ 04:20:56 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Three years have gone,
Since I found myself alone,
I thought my heart would break,
As my confidence you did take.

So I know I feel better,
Since the day I wrote you that letter,
I told you how bad you'd been,
And I hoped all your faults were seen.

I know you think you do no wrong,
But deep inside you knew all along,
Still now you really try,
Somedays to make me cry.

I feel like a person again,
Cos now I'm free from pain.
And everyday I see the sun,
As I know my life has again begun.

My days are no more blue,
Perhaps I was afraid from you,
You did so much to me,
But now I know I am free.

I thank you for going away,
So now I can have my say,
I thank you from my heart,
The day you left and my life did restart

Beautifully written.
It is always right to give your life a new meaning. It's good that you decided to get on with your life rather than crying for someone who is perhaps not your worth.
ammar.
