I just made love with you
but what does that mean
when your words spit hatred
and your heart smells unclean
I just ripped wide my heart for you
but what does that gain
when you roll your eyes in annoyance
and you tell me you feel no pain
I just lay down my life for you
but where do I lie?
On a bed of railroad tracks
when the train of hurt comes thundering by
