A matrix of city lights twinkle in the distance.
Seems like such a pleasant place to live in.
God....yet sooooo deceiving.
So innocuous, Unremarkable.
You're the mask the monster wears.
People carry on their lives as usual, blind...unconcerned. Take their dogs for walks, meet for lunch with friends, Yet...
You lie in wait, beneath a shroud of darkness spun of starless nights and death.
Evil chokes your harbour and presses down on the gravestones of the dead and the restless.
It sneaks in tombs and takes up residence among moldy bones and mildewed grave clothes.
You lie. You are the lie that things are as they should be.
But your shadow devours everything in its path. Sponging up all vitality.
You lie in wait. For others, for me...
I know what you want. Your voracious appetite and your lust for our destruction...is obvious.
You can't wait to taste the souls of the innocent.
I'll never let you have them.
*angry frown*
I WILL stop you whatever the cost!!
You shall never have them!
