Shy girl
She stands all alone
Plays with her hair
She doesn't quite notice me
Her Smile
While she bites on her straw
Lightens the room
For everyone else to see
We walk all alone in the day
But we meet up at night when I sleep
These hours just are not enough
I think I need an eternity
Hands held
As we gaze at the sky
Our backs on the grass
We get lost in the crescent moon
Sweat pours
As I jump from my sleep
I stay up all night
The dream always ends to soon
We walk all alone in the day
But we meet up at night when I sleep
These hours just are not enough
I think I need an eternity

Can't believe you've recieved no comments till now on this little gem of a poem. What a great write, full of expression...I really loved this at the beginning...
"Shy girl

It just really grabbed my attention...I could see her standing there. Glad I stopped to read this. Thanks for sharing.
Peace, Laura |

wow, this is beautifull. You remind me of another writer here, Robertburns 2. That's a huge comment to as he is a decendent of the Robertburns in Ireland.
Luv your work.
huggs, big smiles,
emy
