Screaming with smiles
In the face of denials
With the pain that sinks beneath you
It’s a slap in the face
Everytime theres a trace
Of the man that once deceived you

Sobbing with laughter
Everytime that you capture
A glimpse of the past
That you hide in a mask
To fool everyone around you

Depression with joy
Are the feelings that toy
With your emotions that
Coyly embark to destroy
The world that surrounds you

Provoking while joking
Is like your choking
On what you’ve tried to hide
But its starting to surface
With only the purpose
To defeat what you’ve slowly
But surely
Realizing is life.
