THE SECOND COMING
Ships masthead flexed from hostile kisses of air,
I felt at one with the ocean wave.
Caressed into salty bliss,
So much power gave that could take or save.
I looked to the egg yellow sun,
It cast out its golden keys.
Drawing back the rivet in the door,
Future images created, lush golden trees.
I see myself the likeness of God,
Waterwheels of emotions so compelling.
Ripples thread thy body yet dryness is odd,
Cloaked in an aqua marine wrapping.
Spiritual commands pour into my soul,
I knew thy kingdom is not of this world.
My all now his to control,
But I did understand all that unfurled.
Guidance every step of the way,
Second Coming, Father Of Lights.
Divine Spirit to walk as man it is my right.
Thoughts turn to God I pray.
I do not serve you Lord without surrender,
The wounds of crucifixion.
I will guide to the master’s barn,
A testament with durastiction.
