GONNA WALK ON

Contributed by emystar on Tuesday, 26th September 2006 @ 07:53:34 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

There's pain eva where we go
Enuff to disturb a patient soul.
No matta how deep dis water goes,
No matter if sand burns my toes.

Gonna walk on deez troubled waters
Oh yea, walk on deez troubled waters
Holdin on to God's steady hand.
Oh yea, holdin onto God's steady hand.

Sore throat want stop me from singin
No matta if Liberty ain't ringin.
My father's bigger than all problems.
So no need for me to be sobbin.

Take my shakey hand, Gods link
He'll get us on thru any thing.
Jus lay our burdens all way down
Smile when we really wonna frown.

Luv ain't really all that very hard.
Let eternal luv be our constent guard.
It's magic, we give him total control.
He knows how to restore our soul.

You posted on mine-I'll post on yours. JESUS said," If you have faith the size of a grain of mustard seed and say unto this mountain be removed,IT WILL BE MOVED"."-WHY DID YOU DOUBT PETER." With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.But not with man.

I liked this immensely! The message is so uplifting! And the way you did the words reminds me of ol time hymns being sung in the fields. Great work! Bravo! Write on, Emy, write on!

  • Oooh, wow.

I love how this starts off on a bit of a negative note,
as in, "There's pain eva where we go",
but then it picks up and there's tons of hope
    in the lyrics.

    Thought-provoking write,
and a really good start to my day.

    Thankies for sharing, emy.
    *hugglies you*

    Kat.
