Lost in My Insanity

Contributed by flamingblade on Monday, 25th September 2006 @ 10:04:37 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Know it's all my fault
Locked up in this vault
of my mind
Scarred for life
Pain and strife,
Guiltily lying at the side
Giving up on this crazy ride
No longer caring if I live.
For what I could give
I wish it was enough
I killed you, I know
Hit everyday by such a terrible blow.
Wishing to give up on everything
Hoping I'll be an angel
Maybe with wings.
Jumping off with intentions of death,
Running till I'm out of breath
Scared of the white light
but longing to go
Get rid of this horrendous guilt I know.
I'd give up everything easily too,
Just so I could take back what I did to you.

Lots of lines here easily breathe your anguished feelings. Guilt can tear you to bits, I know. Forgive yourself and go on. Whatever deed you have done, it is done...let it be done and go on.
Good expression of your feelings through your write. Thanks for sharing.
Peace, Laura

Guilt can keep us back. You have to learn to forgive yourself for whatever it is that you have done. This is the only way that you can move on. Never look back, the past is in the past and that's where it should stay.
An excellent write thanks so much for posting it.
The best of luck always take care.
hugs n prayers,
Sue M
