Dawn Of Surrender
As dawn slowly awoke
I could see the coastline
as a memory recalled,
a pebbled beach were no
footsteps lasted long.
Further up big boulders
between them crippled
bushes grew, seed flown
by the wind destined for
the hardest of life.
Sat on a throne of stone,
scanned the sky where no
seabirds flew, but as sea
shifted pebbles I could
hear Nirvana’s hum.
