People who used to be people
Succumbed
Undone
Flattened into oblivion
Surpassed even in modest elevation
As new heights have been reached
Previous barricades have been breached
Now the waves remain deep
In the ocean-
They are afraid of the slippery slope of the beach
Persons who were once a people
A symbol
Traditional
Broken the seal of ethics and morals
In principle
Come tomorrow
Feelings will change
Some sins will be forgiven
Other’s don’t stand a chance
Its never an equal distribution
Rather a redirection of faith
Pointed inwards
Entering the eye-sockets in the face
Citizens of lost civilizations
Population
Acculturation
Articulation of preservation
Agriculture, growing, to feed the famine
To ignite the industrial
Revolution
Factories hire employees
Reproduction of past memories
Flowing
Cool water mixes with the breeze
Parts that used to be whole
Empty spaces
Lack of embraces
Have taken full control
It is finally time to pay what you owe
