Lord,
Confusion, loss, and pain
You have brought me through the rain
You covered my head with your hand
My inner courts your spirit has manned
You provided life when there was none
You gave your one and only Son
You protected me from the harm
I only stumbled when I left your arm
Of my dependence I am aware
I can do nothing unless you are there
I don’t understand why you love me so
But you are my God and this I know
I wouldn’t have it any other way
Forever in your presence I want to stay
