Sarcasm

Contributed by jerseysue on Wednesday, 20th September 2006 @ 03:01:33 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Sarcasm is a selfish thing,
Because of the hurt that it can bring,
It shows a sign of pure uncaring,
Or a smugness that is overbearing,

Does it make this person very proud,
By being cruel, brash and loud,
No reason but to be just awry,
And wallowing in a spiteful glory,

This person does not know of my life,
Or what grief I hold, my hidden strife,
If they did, they may just see it clear,.
The meaning of the words I wrote on here,

You see this poetry site is a blessing ,
It has taught me a valuable lesson,
The good friends of mine are here to stay,
The sarcastic beings can stay away,

So do me a favour, Just keep away,
The way I write my poetry stays,
Sad or happy, gross , or full of wit,
Remember! you don't have to read it,

  • Ooh, wonderful poem.

Love how you've expressed yourself here,
and in the end - you're very right.
People don't have to read your poetry if they don't want to,
and much like emy said, nor do they have to comment on it.

    *hugglies you*

    Powerful write.

    Kaitlyn.
