I can look back and see where I have been,
I know where I am at,
I can trust where I am going,
Because there are things I won't forget.

When I was sad and lonely,
And now I am aware,
That tomorrow will be o.k
Because I know He will be there.

He saw me when I was lonely,
He saw me when I was sad,
He been there beside me,
When I was really bad.

He saw the disappointment,
The nails that dug on in,
He felt the sickness in me,
He took the stripes on His skin.
He felt all my sorrows,
When each thorn touched His brow,
He said everything will be o.k.
He knows how.

His love for me will always be,
Forever and a day,
Because my savior died for me.
He made the way.

this is very good. Even as an agnostic I can still admire your admiration and your obvious love....it's really moving.
