Final Dawn

Remembering my lies, redemption is near
A shadow comes into the clear
I'll give my soul for one more night
So that I may finally make things right.
Baby it's you, my love come to life
Wishing I could make you my wife
It was your eyes that got me first
Like a powerful wonderful curse
Sparkle like diamonds, and blue like the sea
That's when I knew it was meant to be.
Left me numb with nothing to say
When my mistakes finally took you away
Too good to be true, I should have known
That my terrible fate was already sown
So please forgive me of my lies
For this is the day I say goodbye
But even in death, they can't take you away
For in my heart you will always stay
Farewell my love, for I am gone
As darkness claims me on my final dawn.
