its not a very good poem but it was all i could come up with... my entry in the Zopia Poetry Competition sept 15 - sept 27th, the phrase^ above had to be used

I tempt you soul of the abandoned
To return, to bleed with me
Return to your native land
Finally then you shall see

You are now where I once laid
Trapped in your own hatred and disgust
The pain you feel, I felt, and I paid
But believe in me, you must

Your hidden truths and open lies
Is your defence against all you fear
I come down to you from the skies
To teach integrity my dear

For in that place, that dark taboo
I had fallen, I had awoken
This wasn't home, I knew
Yet still I reveled in sin

I let my soul slowly kill
For just like you, I wanted more
I did not care for anothers will
As I danced upon flesh opened, raw

But come with me, come back home
Open your arms and start living
With those where your deeds are still known
But you can be free if you wish to be forgiven

My child, my friend
Do not be forlorn
As this is not the end
For you can still be reborn
