Golden sparkling west
So bright you are
Radiating such beauty
Dark canary yellow
Painted shades of purple
So much energy
Now drawing to an end
Gracefully departing
Leaving, saying your last goodbye
Finally, you're no longer in view
But wait
Another display of your beauty
A flash of emerald green
Over the peaceful ocean blue
Giving us faith
That we will meet again
Tomorrow, we'll see you
Up early in the east

You've described a sunset wonderfully, and the hope that a new sunrise brings. |
