Grandma

From the moment that you changed
My life was re-arranged
Feelings of remorse
Run through me like a wild horse
Sorrow and gilt fill me now
But why? And how?
Standing alone I pray
My life is in dismay
Why dost thou change?

I can still recall the days
And all the words you would say
My love for you still remains
Even in these lamenting rains
Forgetting my name
You are obviously not the same

I want to let you know
That I will never let you go
I know it is not your fault
So I will stay with you as a result

I LOVE YOU GRANDMA

Alzheimer's is a cruel and bitter blow. Don't forget the woman she once was, and still is, burried deep inside. I wish you and your Grandmother peace.
This is beautifully written.
