There's the problem

There’s the problem

So I drink too much
That’s what you’re telling me
My time is short
And I’m too drunk to see
You call me alcoholic
But I must disagree
I just need somebody
Who’ll look after meee!

(Chorus)
If I only had a women
(Just a woman)
If I only had a girl
(Just a babe)
a living pearl
A loving roommate
And I’d behave
Woahhhhh, I’d behave

If I just had the love
I’d never do this
If I just had a mate
Her and I’d relate
I’d leave the demon home
No longer be irate
Alcohol would run away
And I’d be free again

If I wasn’t so alone
If my house was not my home
If I got a better job
A face-lift
Boat, and paparazzi mob
I wouldn’t drown myself
With the horror of the grog

(Chorus)

So now I know just what I need
Now I know the path
If life would just behave
And give me something back
Some one who’d look out for me
Some one I could care for
I won’t be doing this no more

(Chorus)

Course I could blame other things
Besides just no wife
I could blame money
Famine, war and strife
But I guess I need to look within
‘Cause that’s where the demon lives
A mate won’t help, no matter what she gives

(Chorus)

Um, actually this was sparked when a friend of mine kept telling me that he needed a woman. If he had a girlfriend, everything would be alright. Of course he told me this while he was totaly drunk, (and was getting that way daily) and I told him I would write a song for him.... And here it is.
